It is an event full of astronomy, astrology, mysticism and mythology, a kind of astro-party, which is part of the content and symbolism based on ancient Celtic culture that is woven into many details in our present civilization. Hence the name «Lunasa», as these ancient people called the first day of summer (August 1) according to their calendar, the day when life and richness of nature were celebrated! This year, for the first time, the Lunasa event turns into a two-day event. The first night will focus on astrology and astronomy with Višnjan’s Observatory as a partner led by the famous Istrian astrologer and scientist Korado Korlević. On the second day, when the focus will be on mysticism and mythology, a partner will be an established manifestation of a similar nature, Legendfest from Pićan (small Istrian village) who will transfer part of its programs and performers to Lunasa. It will, of course, transfer a puff of magic and mystical atmosphere that will surely bring the spectators back to the atmosphere of time and space from which the roots of our present civilization spring.
