About hotel Maestral

Everything was perfect: the wiew, the staff, food and cleaning. I recommend this hotel and for the price. We stayed 7 night and we have a nice surprise every time: fireworks, live show and very gentle hotel staff.

The hotel had very nice landscaped grounds and a nice pebble/rock beach with concrete beach areas nearby. They have a childrens pool and playground for kids. Breakfast buffet was very good. Nice 10 minute walk along beach to Novigrad made it easy to go out for dinner. The water in the pools (outside and inside) and jacuzzi was a bit cooler than it should have been. We got the economy double, which was very small (think dorm room), but to be fair, they did warn us about this when we booked the room. And it was the same price as a single, so we cant really complain!

Food and quality and service all great. Lovely hotel with lots of activities for kids and older kids. Really well organised hotel. Mainly young families and old folk from Italy, Austria and Germany. There is a great indoor pool with sprays and jets etc, a very good Animation (4hrs Mini Club for kids to paint and make crafts) and easy to use in-room internet (all free) you can ask for a cable or go wireless from the lobby. The food nice clean and is straightfoward and there is always something for everyone to eat at breakfast and dinner. The stony beach isnt everyones cup of tea but you get used to it quite quickly and dont have to worry about bringing sand back into the hotel room. Tennis is cheap as is tabletennis and bikes which make the trip into town very relaxing. If you think it might be too hot, even for the bikes then there is a train-car thing that costs 10 kuna and takes you to the marina pretty much in the centre left of the town, every 40 mins? maybe. If you like a slapup buffet breakfast, swimming, ping the kids off to do painting and learning croatian, ice cream and watermelon every evening with your over the top buffet dinner and browsing the web when the weather is too hot, then this is a good option.

There is a excellent choice of food both for breakfast and dinner. Beer, soft-driks, white wine and red wine of quite good quality are available for free during dinner. Very clean rooms, restaurant and pool area Very good services Note: we forgot a pair off expensive shoes, and they send them by registration to us I would definetely recommend it !!! This was my first visit to Croatia and certainly wont be my last.

I stayed in hotel Maestral in March 2012 and March 2013. I was welcomed by professional and well-mannered receptionists (Andreja and Lara) who are always happy to help and advise. The room I was given is on the 4th floor which is reachable by stairs or an elevator. It is well maintained, clean, bright and spacious with a fantastic view and equipped with mini bar, flat screen TV, double bed and furniture in very good condition. Wireless internet is available in the room. Bar is well equipped with a huge range of drinks served on time. For smokers management has provided blankets fir cold days. The cream of the crop is definitely the restaurant. The range of food is fantastic, always fresh and prepared in the hotel. In my opinion there is something for everyone. Service provided by Sandro/Tihomir and the crew is “second to none”. To cut the story short and to finish this review the whole hotel runs like a “DREAM” thanks to their staff and it is worth every penny spent.
